Description

Projects selected by Diaphonique help to promote the French and British repertoire from the last 30 years and foster strong artistic exchanges between France and the UK.

Diaphonique supports :
commissions - for more information, please check our newsletter Commissions made to French and British composers since 2010
concerts (revival, British premiere of a French existing work or French premiere of a British existing work)

educational projects (conferences, masterclasses) for more information, please check our newsletter Educational project and master classes
On our website, please read the criteria and conditions to apply and browse through the previous projects supported by Diaphonique.

Diaphonique has also adjusted its criteria to better answer the needs of artistic cooperation between France and the United Kingdom by encouraging the development of digital and hybrid (digital + in-person) projects. These must take place between July 2021 and August 2023.

Priority will be given to projects :
• resulting in live performances
• involving new generations of composers
• involving women artists and/or composers
• reflecting diversity and inclusion
• experimenting with new forms of music

Venues, festivals, ensembles, collectives or musical institutions are invited to apply as of now. The application must be sent by a legal structure based in France (Siret) or in the UK (charity number).

The applications are exclusively made online. To fill in the application form, create your account online. You will find the application form in your account once you are signed in.

If you have questions, please save the date for an online Q&A on 28 April. An inscription link will be sent in the next newsletter.
