Call for Scores – Noisy Nights Hybrid (2nd Edition)

Deadline: 26 Nov 2020

Description

To wrap up the year, Noisy Nights come back for another hybrid edition to be premiered online on our YouTube channel on Friday 18th December with these outstanding musicians:

Tom Hunter – Percussion,
Jackie Shave – Violin,
Robert Irvine – Cello.

Noisy Nights provide an outlet to hear emerging new musical ideas and voices in our new social distanced reality.

Call for Scores

If you are an emerging, student or amateur composer (age 18+), this call is for you.

We are looking for 5-min long scores for Marimba (4.3 octave)*, Violin and Cello. Submissions could be seasonally informed. Please note the scores should not include electronics or any pre-recorded parts and consider that concerts are rehearsed and performed in a short timeframe.

Full score and parts in pdf format to be submitted to Rocio Leza (admin@rednoteensemble.com) by 5pm on Thursday 26 November. Late submissions will not be considered.

*Please see Tom Hunter- Guide to Writing for Marimba for some thoughts and advice. See the link above for more info.
