Scottish Musicians Coaching Programme

Deadline: 9 Dec 2020

Description

6-month programme designed to help professional musicians reach their full potential through exploration of opportunities, ambitions and barriers.

Do you feel stuck?

Do you feel your music career has plateaued?

Do you love making music but unsure if it is the career for you?

Were you on the cusp of something big and COVID wiped it out?

If you identify with these or similar experiences, this programme may be for you.

The Scottish Musicians Coaching Programme is being delivered by Considered Thinking on behalf of Help Musicians, a charity that has been working to make a meaningful difference to the lives and careers of professional musicians for nearly 100 years, providing them with a lifetime of support when it’s needed most.

The aim of this coaching programme is to support musicians based in Scotland who are experiencing or planning a shift in their music career and believe they would benefit from a coaching partnership that will provide a reflective, supportive and challenging space to encourage the journey from where they are now to where they strive to be. Previously participants have found this partnership to be profoundly powerful and potentially life-changing.

The programme will be delivered through one-to-one coaching sessions and group learning over a six month period from Monday 11 January to Friday 9 July 2021.

The Scottish Musicians Coaching Programme is open to professional musicians in Scotland working in any genre or discipline, at any career-stage. We are looking to fulfil a diverse cohort of musicians for this pilot programme. Application deadline: Wednesday 9th December
