Description
Join us for a special evening celebrating the musical connections between Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, and Estonia, presented by The Night With… in collaboration with Glasgow Life. Following the Estonian Chamber Orchestra’s Glasgow visit, this concert builds on the exciting legacy of Nordic Music Days 2024. Featuring the internationally renowned Stockholm Chamber Brass, the programme premieres brand-new works by Jenny Hettne and Matthew Whiteside, alongside Piers Hellawell’s evocative Sound Carvings from the Bell Foundry and Eino Tamberg’s dynamic Music for 5. Established in 1988, Stockholm Chamber Brass has earned global acclaim, consistently pushing the boundaries of brass quintet repertoire through innovative commissions and recordings. This promises to be an evening of bold, engaging performances and inspiring new music.
