Description
Violinist and violist Feargus Hetherington trained in Scotland and the USA. He works regularly with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and is an established concert performer. Recital collaborations have taken him to Germany, Poland and New York City, performing with pianists including Geoffrey Tanti, Jonathan Cohen, Olga Gorelik and Benjamin Powell. A recording artist, he is currently working on a disc of Mozart and Schubert Sonatas. He has been a guest performer with Red Note and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and has studied both violin and conducting with Joseph Swensen. Feargus is a founding member of IPSA Collective. Recently turning to composition, he is passionate about continuing to expand his musical boundaries..
