Description

Working with a huge number of ensembles, guest artists and composers over the years, PLUG is a launchpad for new experiments and exciting ideas bouncing around Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

During its 19 years, PLUG has premiered 750+ new works.

We kick things off with a Mondays at One featuring works for Brass, Sax & Percussion, and we’re delighted to collaborate with our Modern Ballet department again for a performance of new electronic works. Also returning this year is PLUG regular, percussionist Calum Huggan, who will be performing alongside our contemporary music ensemble, RCS MusicLab.

For Fridays at One, we’re joined by tuba and euphonium duo, Dopey Monkey, who will be performing a range of new student works.

PLUG 2025 is presented in celebration of Glasgow 850, showcasing creativity in the city, past, present and future.
