Bright & Wild Artist Commission x 4

Lyra is looking to commission four experienced Lead Artists (1 x Dance, 1 x Music, 2 x Performing Arts) to create four new performance pieces for the 2022 Bright & Wild festival in collaboration with children and young people from Greater Craigmillar in Edinburgh (Lyra’s Young Artists).
The commissions are part of our exciting project, Connections funded by a National Lottery Community Fund Young Start Grant.
Each Commission includes:
Lead Artist fee of £5,250
A budget of £2,000 for materials and collaborators
Free theatre and studio space at Lyra
Free hot desk office space at Lyra
A Facilitator and Youth Arts Worker to support the sessions
Producer support
Opportunities to share the progress of the work with audiences and industry professionals
