Suddenly. Everything Feels is a concert of new music for strings and clarinet, bringing to light works written during the national lockdown. The programmes consist of reflections on momentary experiences by Lewis Coenen-Rowe, featuring a spoken word part by the composer; explorations of fragile and delicate soundworlds from Kevin Leomo; tragic consequences of human actions in Ruta Vitkauskaite's commemoration of the Hiroshima tragedy; and habits, routine, schedule, safety, comfort, control in Laura Bowler's new commission for Scott Lygate.
We are delighted to welcome leading contemporary music performers Scott Lygate (clarinet), Emma Lloyd (violin), Lisa Robertson (violin), Katherine Wren (viola), and Laura Sergeant (cello).
