    Another triptych in a series of collaborations with the artist James Cowan has my music for violin, clarinet and cello accompanying the videos showing his artwork being created. The artist writes: "Named after the long straight roads of St Petersburg that offer a 'prospect' or view, the paintings of the Prospekt Suite recreate incidents or imaginary scenes from the city streets to the suburbs. Originally painted as a set of three triptychs, the mood of the music takes on a subdued, reflective and at times melancholic hue. However, in the final movement this changes to a faster, more positive outlook as the paintings recreate the buildings, facades and incidents of city life." In this showing the sounds are from Sibelius audio, with the aim of live concert performances of the suite by the Hector Scott Trio.
